Disability Inclusion

BBHA seeks to reduce exclusion by considering accessibility, communication, participation and specific support needs when programmes are planned and delivered.

Programme priorities

  • Accessible programme participation
  • Referral and support for verified disability-related needs
  • Inclusive education and community participation
  • Awareness to reduce stigma and exclusion
  • Partnership with relevant specialist organisations

What responsible delivery means

Inclusion means more than attendance. Programme teams aim to identify practical barriers and make reasonable adjustments within available resources and technical capacity.

Monitoring and accountability

Activities are planned against defined needs and available resources. BBHA maintains programme records, safeguarding expectations, approval controls and follow-up processes appropriate to the intervention so that support can be reviewed and reported responsibly.
